The monastery of l’Assumption Notre-Dame is situated in the grandiose and wild mountains of Chartreuse, in a place that is particularly solitary, surrounded by immense forests of conifers and broad-leaved trees. In this setting of verdure and rocks, the community of the monks of Bethlehem, of the Assumption of the Virgin and of Saint Bruno was humbly born in the Church on October 6th, 1976, on the feast of Saint Bruno.
The monastery remains a founding site for all the brothers. The silence and severe beauty of this place powerfully remind the monks who live here and all the pilgrims who come here to pray of Saint Bruno’s cry of faith: “Is there any other good than God ?”

- 25 au 31 mars : Semaine sainte avec les moines de Currière-en-Chartreuse
- 27-28 avril : Week-end découverte de la vie monastique
- 3-16 août : Grande retraite de prière pour tout jeune garçon entre 18 et 35 ans
