In the gentle hills of Umbria, at the end of a long path which ends in an abandoned village, is found the monastery of the Madonna del Deserto. Its proximity to Rome charges this monastery with the particular responsibility of praying for the Holy Father and for the Church. Certain tasks which serve the entire monastic Family are carried out in this monastery, such as the publishing of the liturgical books.
