The Monastic Sisters of Bethlehem propose an “Evangelical Month”
“If anyone thirsts, let him come to me
and drink, whoever believes in me!”
Jn 7, 37-38
This retreat of discernment, with regards to a calling to consecrated life, takes place in silence. It is open to young women aged between 18 and 35, of all nations and tongues. Each participant is accompanied upon her own unique path by one or two monastic sisters.
Twice a day the monastic community who welcomes the young people, and the young people themselves gather together in the church to sing the liturgy, were the Mysteries of the Most Holy Trinity and of Christ are celebrated. These Mysteries are also expounded during the daily catechesis which each one may listen to in her language. Audio-visual “biblical pilgrimages” complete the teaching.
Eucharistic Adoration, prayer workshops and times of lectio divina are also proposed, as well as a few profound and joyfull fraternal gatherings.

(Arrival Monday 5th August, departure Saturday 30 August).
