An exposition of artwork for sale from the monasteries of Bethlehem (statues, icons, medals, earthenware, tableware, etc and decorated pottery) is open every day from 13h00 (1:00 PM) until 16h30 (4:30 PM), except Mondays and Sundays.
Founded in 1967, the Monastery of Notre-Dame de la Gloire-Dieu is nearly at the peak of a mountain that overlooks the depression of Lake Léman, Geneva, Evian, Lausanne and the Jura tablelands. Saint Francis de Sales liked to visit the hermits who lived there at that time. It is the most ancient Marian mountain site of the Haute-Savoie and offers a stunning view of Mont Blanc which rises majestically in the midst of the Alpes which stretch to the peaks of Midi. It is in this grandiose place where the young sisters live for their first years of monastic life.
